Prepare for the large and frequent storm events that have been washing out roads around the state and the northeast.\nThis workshop will cover road-stream crossing projects from site assessment to permitting and installation. The emphasis will be on maintaining and restoring the habitat and economic values of the stream. Workshop presenters will include professionals from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife\, the Maine Forest Service\, ProjectShare\, The Nature Conservancy\, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service\, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service\, the Maine Coastal Program\, NOAA and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. Participants in this workshop will receive recertification credit for the Maine Department of Environmental Protection’s Voluntary Contractor Certification Program.
