The Bar Harbor Marine Resource Committee has scheduled a clam flat survey for Hadley Point for October 4 starting at 3:30pm and going for as long as we can stand it (low tide is at 5pm).  

Students from the COA marine biology class will be there to help, and will also be taking data on pH of mudflats and also doing some green crab surveys and estimating clam recruitment (young clams that have just settled to the mudflat).  

Any member of the public is welcome to come, help, and learn about the work!
