Posting to the Events Calendar:

  1. Make sure you are logged in to the site.
  2. On the sidebar, click “Post an Event”.
  3. Enter the event’s name in the first text box, the event description in the text box below that, and then scroll down to enter the date and time. Enter the location and contact information.
  4. IMPORTANT: On the right-hand side under “Event Categories”, check the box that says “Partners’ Events”.  If you are the Regional Shellfish Committee, check the Regional Shellfish Committee box.
  5. Click Publish.  Your event is now on the calendar!

Contacting Partners:

NOTE: The email system allows partners to email each other without the email addresses being visible.

  1. Make sure you are logged in to the site.
  2. On the sidebar, click “Contact Partners”.
  3. Select the recipients from the list. To select multiple recipients, hold down the control key while clicking.
  4. Write your message.
  5. Click Send.

Posting a new project:

  1. Make sure you are logged in to the site.
  2. At the top of the screen, click on “+New“. (If you don’t see this, click the dashboard link under the login tab.)
  3. Add a title and description.
  4. Scroll down to the Categories section. IMPORTANT: Click the check boxes next to “Projects.” You may also click the checkboxes next to the conservation target area it relates to, if applicable and your organization name. If your organization name isn’t listed, click “Add New Category” and enter your organization name. Checking these boxes will make the projects display on the correct pages.
  5. Click Publish.
  • You can add pictures or documents by clicking “Upload/Insert” above the text box.  This will open a box where you can drag and drop pictures or files from your computer desktop or file manager. If you want to browse for your files, you can do that by clicking the Select Files button or the browser uploader link. Once you have selected your file and the progress bar reaches 100%, you will see a thumbnail of your image or file appear below the filename. Scroll down in this box for options for the size of the image and its positioning. Medium and Right are the options most often used on this site.
    IMPORTANT: Click the “Insert into Post” button at the bottom of the pop-up box.
  • If you would like to add a link, highlight the text you want to add a link to, click the chain icon in the toolbar at the top of the text box, enter the website address and then click the blue “Add Link” button.
